When Madea snaps sixteen-year-old Jennifer and her two younger brothers stripping her house, she determines to have issues into her own hands and carries the young delinquents to the only relational they have: their aunt April. A heavy-drinking night club vocalist who lives off of Raymond, her married boyfriend, April needs nothing to do with the children.

But her attitude starts to switch when Sandino, a handsome Mexican immigrant attending for job, goes into April’s basement room. Making improves for his own troubled past, Sandino challenges April to open her heart. And April soon figures she must affect the biggest selection of her life: between her old ways with Raymond and the new theories of family, trust … and even true love.
