Edge of Darkness (2010) – Thomas Craven, a single father, has been a Boston homicide investigator for many years. His 24-year-old daughter Emma, his only child, is murdered on the front steps of his house. At first it seems that Craven was the intended target.
He presently reveals evidence that leads him to think differently, and determines to pursue the information at all prices. He determines his daughter led a secret life that led to her killer. He promptly finds himself confronted with a shadowy world of organized collusion with government-sanctioned murder. In the process he collides with a secret government operative, Darius Jedburgh, whose job is to clean up and hide any remaining evidence. Craven’s singleness of purpose in finding answers about Emma’s death becomes a transforming experience that changes his life.

You may have barely gotten that christmas tree up, but new years eve is coming whether you are ready for it or not! We are expecting the ensemble cast rom com, NEW YEARS EVE to bring home the big bucks in the box office this weekend with 25 million. Besides the flick being packed with all of our favorite actors, New Year's Eve is the clear front-runner for the weekend and also the first wide release since Breaking Dawn to target female audiences — so we think the flick will easily dominate this weekend. . The other opener, The Sitter, is expected to bring in about 12 million for the weekend…while we are used to seeing Jonah hill with a sidekick or in an ensemble cast, it should be interesting to see if the actor can pull off that star power solo!
